Today, Trevor continues to speak to us on the theme of Highly Skilled, Deeply Formed sharing an acrostic for REST.
Here are some key ideas from the 3min clip:
Insecurities derail us. They prevent us from teaching what God calls us to teach and leading the way we should lead. Insecurities make us less effective.
2 Peter 3: 17b-18 says:
“So be on guard; then you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing. Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ.”
Rest in Jesus
R – reflect
E – exercising a willingness to grow
S – submit our actions into God’s hands
T – thank him along the way
