Trevor Coleman: Kingdom Culture
We continue to bring you sessions from the 2021 AOG Group Conference: Kingdom Come.
Here is the session from Trevor Coleman on Kingdom Culture.
Some key takeaway points from the session:
Craig Groeschel: leaders define reality
As leaders we need to: Lead with a Kingdom Culture filter
Matthew 6:9: May your name be kept holy, as set apart.
When we look at everything through the Kingdom culture filter we start to recognise thing differently. Everything needs to be assessed through the filter of Kingdom Culture should we want to enlarge our capacity and should we want to have greater impact.
There are 3 ways in which we can view earthly culture: neutral culture, harmful culture and beneficial culture.
- Tolerate neutral culture
- Moderate harmful culture
- Celebrate beneficial culture
Celebrate the culture you want to replicate
As leaders we need to: Build and Intimate relationship with time
- Enlarged leadership capacity is often more about time than skill
- Are we resting when we need to and are we resting when we should be working?
Invest your best into what builds the nest
Empower others
Find someone who can do something 60% as well as you can with enthusiasm and they will eventually do it better than you
If you delegate tasks you will only create followers, if we empower people with authority, we develop leaders.
